I started building for the web back when “responsive design” wasn't a thing yet — because there was only one screen size. I was a Web Designer who obsessed over every pixel, every color, every layout decision. Not because I had to. Because I genuinely believed good design changes how people feel about a product.
As the web matured, so did I. I moved into UI/UX design — learning that pixels only matter when they serve people. Then I crossed the line into frontend development, because I kept seeing the gap between what designers intended and what developers shipped. I closed that gap by becoming both.
